The Sticky Pen is the first vaporizer pen I have ever tried and let me just say, for the price I paid, I won't buy any other vaporizing pen out there. To be completely honest with you, if I ever lose a concentrate chamber, battery charger, or just need a battery replacement, I'll just repurchase the Sticky Pen Wax Burner kit since it comes with everything you need and then some.
Now, I payed $32.00 including shipping for my Sticky Pen and I fell in love with it immediately. Just to be clear, when you buy the Sticky Pen, you get everything you see there in the picture. You get the pen, the battery, the charger, two refillable concentrate chambers, and a dabber to load your pens with. I just discovered however, that if you search hard enough on the internet, you can in fact find this very same Sticky Pen for as low as $25. You can also just purchase it for it's retail price of $42.95 plus shipping at stickypenwaxburner.com.
I've personally used both wax and oil concentrates in this pen and let me tell you, the final results are truly amazing. It DOES NOT leak concentrates however, I have noticed that is smokes best if kept slightly less then level. The battery charges in about an hour so once you get the timing down, you'll never go without battery power. There is a red led indicator light that will turn green to let you know when your pen is fully charged. The light at the tip of the pen will also flash 5 times to let you know when the battery is dead. The battery last almost a full 24 hours of continuous use; and by continuous use, I mean a drop of concentrate every 2 hours (ie. 4 to 6 strong hits of concentrate every 2 hours.) Most defiantly, more than, strong enough for your average everyday user.
One last thing that I can't stress enough is how important it is that you learn how to use your concentrate dabber correctly. For those of you first timers, like me, the dabber is the metal stick looking thing with the flat tip in the image above. Now, when I first got my pen, I had no idea how to use the dabber. Like I said, this was my first vape pen. So here's what you do. First, scoop a small amount of concentrate with the flat end of your dabber. Hover over your pen's concentrate chamber and heat the back of your dabber with your lighter.
Caution, do not heat the concentrate itself with direct flame as it will evaporate and go to waist. If you're as conservative as me, then you know just how important it is not to waist even a single drop of concentrate. If you cause the concentrate to boil, you have the flame to close. Back off a little. Other then that, heat the metal backing of your dabber by slowly moving the flame of a lighter towards it. Once the metal heats up, the concentrate will liquify and drip into your pen's chamber, so be ready for it to drip.
I have recommended the Sticky Pen Wax Burner to many of my friends and I would defiantly recommend that you pick one up too. Especially for first timers. The price is right and it comes with EVERYTHING you need except for the concentrates themselves. I give this pen a 10 out of 10.
